Hi guys, I glad our board is becoming more and more alive :)

It is my first experience of setting up a forum, so some settings needs to be tuned up :) For example, I just noticed that only users with 50+ post have ability to change Karma (thank/dislike) posts - fixed it now :)

Also, I intentionally set up the board to be pre-moderated - I am planning leave this setting ON for now.

Please, let me know what your concerns or suggestions are!

Could you deactivate that you have to confirm every post... it makes everything really slow and annoying.
I was told that its allready a reason for some ppl to leave.

There is not much spam messages as I expected, so it is doable.  We need a moderator though, who would ensure that posted content is legit... Any volunteers?

Sure, it is possible - I tested it a couple of times.

First option is to embed it with IMG tag (Insert Image button):

2nd option is to attach an image. Very nice feature here: you could attach not only a local file but a remote as well! Just paste URL in the Browse window and press Open.

Let me know if you still have issues!

Perhaps you could use a dereferrer site that strips the referral headers of this website when accessing external links.

Hi Lentil, I wasn't planning to hide my site from referral headers.. Why would you recommend doing this? To avoid being tracked by site owners? I remember it was a discussion at OOC a while ago but don't remember details. Can you provide more details? Would really appreciate it!

In regards of HTTPs login - I don't feel like paying for a certificate at the moment and don't want to use self-signed one.

A site like http://anonym.to/en.html (http://anonym.to/en.html) prevents URLs from this forum appearing in the server logs of ftp and http servers - it's just another layer of privacy and costs nothing.

This is a two way thing - we need more poster to have more finds; and more users we have it is more difficult to access FTPs...

I would suggest following in the future (this is just a raw, general idea):

Once we have a critical amount of posters we could create a special group of Uploaders, who will be going through new links, download whole FTPs and upload them to a FileSharing hosting. All other members will be posting their finds, but the links will be visible for Uploaders only. Once Uploaders download whole FTP and create a save they will post it in Public section without showing original link. But in this case Uploader should create a Full save so everyone would be happy. For example I ma not interested in NU only photos - I could go to a porn site in this case :) I like to have a lot of NN pictures form day to day life included in the save. 

Let's discuss this  - if we have 10-15 volunteers to become an Uploader we could start realising this idea. Suggestions?

Yeah, it´s a double edged sword..Full ftp rips on a fileshare site takes forever to download, unless you pay for a service, but potentially more users could benefit before the site vanishes. Ripping and sharing only "the good stuff" means smaller filesize, but who´s to say what the good stuff is? HC porn is widely available on the Internet, so if I want just that, there´s specialized sites for it.
I for one prefers to select for myself what I find interesting in an open dir, an ftp or other sites...thrill of the hunt, so to speak :D

Exactly! That's why I split my saves in there separate parts: one for NN, second for semi-hot and the last for NU. In regards of file sharing server, if we would have one team of Uploaders we would upload to one service only and it is easier to buy a Premium and enjoy :) I used to have premium at Uploaded.Net and it was super cool to download on fulls speed and without waiting. Now this service is not so popular and I moved to Keep2Share.

These servers are not made for many users. You will overload them quickly. 1 or 2 is probably the limit. So the most important thing is probably to post saves not links :).
On the other hand if ppl dont have time to save it themselfs a more private way for sharing links would be better. Something like a sample/download request list.

I know it is quite difficult to reach new members without providing anything to download publicly, but the way it works now doesn't seem to work. When a link gets posted, the source is immediately overcrowded so that no one can benefit. As a result, just speakting for myself, people are not going to contribute by posting archived stuff. Fo me, it is actually not worth the work making archives and uploading them without having the possibility to post these archives in a (somehow) restricted users group.

Basicly it is done so that this site doesn't show up as the source. If someone clikcs on a link on this site, it will send the adress "www.sts-pro.info/forum/index.php?topic=6.300.html"for example with it. See https://codeclerks.com/PHP/163/Hide-HTTP-Referer-Header-Script

This is true! If we would have an Uploaders we would assign one IP to one Uploader. Downloading is not too bad even on my slow connection :) Sorting and uploading takes the most time, but if it would be at least 5 of us we could post saves reasonably often.

Hi carlito56, it was a temporary problem with the server. It is fixed now and you can upload attachments again.
In regards of file sharing serevrs I would recommend using http://keep2share.cc - it is cheap and fast.  zippyshare could be free but it is extremely slow for me :(

Another option would be to use a filehoster supported by one of the premium link generators. Although they are not completly stable, they sometimes break down for a time :/.

Can only talk about 'free services', but comparing Uloz, Zippy and Keep2Share:
The fastest is Zippy and then Uloz. Keep2share is really slow on free accounts. Zippy have the advantage of allowing multiple file downloads and Uloz allows imediate download when the last one is finished

Keep2share is more or less the same as Rapidgator on free accounts, slow and only one file download and long time waiting for the next file

Maybe, but ZippyShare has no waiting time between downloads and even has simultaneous downloads.
Can you name another storagehost that offers this?

True  ;) downloading 150mb file in Keep2share free account 2 hours and 1 hour waiting time for next file...150mb on Zippy 5 min, Uloz 6-7 min !

We currently working on this. I believe direct FTP links will be visible only for senior members (active posters) and saves will be available available for general users.

Basically, port 21 searches for FTP, 530 is a reply string from the FTP server. Use country code to limit search (country:UK, country:de etc.)
To find NAS servers, you can just write Iomega as search string, and combine with country code for instance.
If you don´t subscribe to shodan, it´s only gonna show the first 5 page of results.

I think I finally got it. Just search Shodan, copy the IP to ftp:// and there you go. Makes sense now.

Please can you alter the security settings so that member profiles can only be viewed by registered members who are logged in ?  I see guest accounts browsing member profiles, and there is no reason that they should be able to do it.

Now that the board is growing and contributions are increasing, I think that we should have a separate thread for each ftp found using the ip as the title.  This would make it easier to see new posts and old posts instead of page after page of ftps in one thread.  It also means it would be easier to spot stuff posted before/duplicates.

I understand your concerns. However, firstly, AVF completely banned open FTP thread - you cannot find even saves there. Here, it won't be the case! All the saves of all the finds will be posted at OVF open thread!

Secondly, AVF make it literately impossible to become a Gold Member even for the loyal contributors, such as myself. For instance, my statistics at AVF were reset three times!!! And after having 40 posts out of 50 twice, I have got 0 posts and 0 thanks count after thread closures :( On my board all the previously gained Karma points are always staying with the user! So if you are contributing - you will easily become a VIP.

Also, even if you are not a contributor by the nature, you will still have an option to become a sponsor of the board and still have access to VIP section. I am still working on this option though, but I think it would be a fair go.

Unfortunately, amounts of ruined FTPs posted here are making me to make this decision. It is not solely my decision though. I even would say I was holding off this as much as I could! However, we reached the point where many of our most active contributors are unwilling to post their finds anymore... This solution was worked out after a long discussions and hopefully will suit everyone, while keeping this board alive.

In regards of other places, I wasn't been able to find any board which still has FTP section. Both AVF and OCC are literately unusable even for posting saves - moreover, OCC I would say is in insane/paranoic mode now :( This is sad, but true...

Please see my reply below. This not an easy and not solely mine decision.

Amount of posted links after this announcement even increased, and he WILL get his VIP status pretty soon. I would recommend start contributing and stop complaining ;) 5000 Karm is only 50 posts - I believe this is fair. And this is discussable, may be will create a Sub-VIP status... Reasonable suggestions are welcome!

please people consider some things.

• We dont do this for our own benefit, we do this for everyone
• Links go down rather quick after they have been postet = too many connections = we had to limit the connection counts = we upload stuff and set the direct link into VIP Section where less people because leecher are filtert out (low karma) and active members will get VIP
• This is not sts_pro's decision alone, every moderator got +- the same opinion on this matter and sts_pro just supports our idear (and ofc is the opinion aswell)
• Never ever, did someone say that this System is final, there will be changes, there will be improvements, there will be a platform for you people which is hopefully going to stay stable and consistent!

In that matter, dont feel offended if your not VIP-ASAP, in long term its for EVERY "real" members benefit!
And if your here for the sole purpose of leeching anyways, then feel free to pick up the uploads we present you.

If you post would be deleted by a Moderator  - you would be informed about it. It means your post is still in the queue, please be patient.

I believe filetering the active contributors is a good idea but maybe the karma threshold is a bit to high.

N another hand, I think the new posting system makes it dificult to know if you're posting repeated links.

We will see how it goes. At the moment I am slowly going through older posts and giving users Karma for contributions. Once I finish this process we will see how far active contributors will be form VIP status and probably re-adjust Karma levels (if needed)

while VIP section is good news for regular users, its bad for casual user like me . i thought sts would be different, but no. Oh well i cant complain as i do not have means and time to "search" on shodan. Thanks every one for shares so far.

Hey irabelle23, in this case just enjoy saves form other users. I am also planning to create a sponsor-VIP option later, for the users who don't have time to search but want to have access to VIP section ;)

I made some posts alittle more than 2 weeks ago in the "FTP-thread"..  one of them I got 50 karma for, 2 of them is still "pending" approval and the last one I got nothing (?)

I'm a bit curious about consistency and how long it takes for posts to get approved... Care to shed some light on that?

Unfortunately, the Admin is not able. The from me since this morning (almost 12 hr.) Added ftp's from Germany Add ... I hope it is him aware that Germany ip changed at least every 24 hrs ...
please put me to the VIP's and check it the German ftps quickly so other user can access it ....

Hi dienamic, apologies for delays with Karma assignment. Unfortunately it is only me who can change the Karma and I am trying to keep up as fast as I can :)

In your case I gave you 50 Karma points for a save without link. Plus I will add you 10 points for posting preview - this a new decision we made with Moderators, to encourage users to decorate posts a bit better :)

For your second post I didn't assigned your anything yet, but will do it now: 100 for  the link + 50 for the save + 10 for preview.

Not much we can do about dynamic IPs. To get VIP - just keep sharing, our Moderators team works hard to aprove as much post as we can

I posted now over 10-15 german links, I think most are dead now?! My latest post is weeks ago and all posts are not checked by mods for weeks now... so I cant get karma and dont get vip. I dont like to post anymore when my finds die and for 2-4 weeks nothing of my posts is checked...

Hi abraxxas, I understand your frustration! We are doing the best to review and approve the posts. Please give us some more time to finish with the backlog of posts and we will return to a regular approval speed

Guys, stop complaining already! If you know link will be dead in a 24 hours - what do you want from me or Moderators? Do the bloody save yourself first! Upload save and post your link!

Much of these complaints can be prevented by just checking the whole ftp yourself. Provide us a link to the ftp, download all the content you think is worth it, and post the .zip/.rar file with your post. So all we have to do is download the file and check the few goodies.

There's alot of work involved in going trough pages and pages of files. Please take that in mind, we all have a private life. We're not 24/7 checking ftp's for nudes.

I mean lets say somebody make a new post (reply) at 4 march, then the post is approved by moderator at 10 of march, the post will show at 4 of march and not at the date of approval.

I mean by that that it will be better that the post will be dated at approval date and not at posted date.

Use HJSplit to join the parts and it works fine as a RAR file

I used HJSplit to split them.  So hopefully this works for everyone.
I'll still try myself when I get home and redo them if need be.

This is because using a dumb k2s…on mega.nz is allowed 1 GB for free user per file (50 GB storage space) and the speed is excellent.
Downloaded first part and extract files just fine with WinRar 4.0 (don’t have time to wait 8 hours for the remaining 4 parts) ???
This rar could easily be in one piece and there is no need for hj split...

I though 250 mb was the limit for free users.  I had the same issue even after remaking the entire thing.
The original is 950mb. I'm uploading it whole to k2s now and hopefully free users can grab it.

Found this server (94.41.xxx..FreeAgent_GoFlex_Drive) a week ago, thought I had downloaded all the good stuff, then see this save and of course I thought I am certainly something overlooked.
It took me two hours with three different link generators to download those nine parts…
My suspicions were confirmed, all good stuff is 550mb.
Why not set aside 1GB unnecessary files like: a bunch of .JPG~ unreadable duplicates, fat granny posing, husband posing with friends, friends sitting on couch, husband barbecue with friends, fat granny eating...etc
I'm certainly not the only one who came to this “1GB unnecessary files “ conclusion.
I know forum rules and administrator approval for each post, it’s not necessary this message to be posted in thread, good enough to reach the uploaders or admin.
I understand how the game works…can’t wait to download nine parts on painfully slow hosting site for free users, it's easier to buy premium account (same thing doing [DELETED] with rapidgator saves on phica forum)
I understand it all, but there are some of us who love this forum and just do not have money  :(

@dzonikonj I encourage uploaders to split NN content into a separate archive, so only interested people could download these files. I am personally always split my saves, even though it costs me extra couple of hours t sort the save.
In regards of not posting NN staf at all and not posting grannies:
- I was surprised how many people do like to see grannies! :)
- Save without NN images I don't recognise as a save at all! If I need to see some random boobs I can open pornhub! Most of us here to have a sneak peak into personal life and for me it is only satisfying when I can find a "gem" between a bunch of NN day to day photos
